A FEW QUESTIONS FOR THE PRESIDENT ON HIS ENERGY POLICY
The President is hell bent on loaning the hideous nuclear energy industry $53 Billion dollars, almost twice the amount in the job creation bill. How can a seemingly intelligent man make a blunder this enormous?
President Obama,
How can you possibly justify loaning more money to the nuclear power industry?
It is so incredibly expensive that it has never operated at a profit. Isn't this just one more frivolous give away to irresponsible corporations?
It is NOT carbon neutral. Fuel production relies on huge amounts of fossil fuels.
It is a public health hazard of the first order. Cancers mushroom around reactor sites and among workers. The environment becomes contaminated causes more health problems.
In more than half a century no one has figured out how to safely dispose of waste products.
The first nuclear rod ever used is still a health and safety hazard. There is no safe, long term storage solution. All the waste ever produced is still with us and leaking into rivers, water tables and leeching into soils.
Nuclear energy produces enormous amounts of heat that must be returned to the environment and produces large scale environmental destruction.
Meltdowns present a significant risk to those living near reactors and reactors are prime targets for terrrorists.
France, a first world nation that relies heavily on nuclear energy is decommissioning its reactors for all the reasons listed above.
Why aren't you spending this money on renewable energy? Why aren't you spending money on
job creation that doesn't give workers and residents cancer? That doesn't destroy the environment?
Why aren't you spending that money on helping states that cannot provide vital services to their citizens because of you policies? Is their any corporate scam you won't buy into?
You are more than a disapppointment. You appear to care nothing for the health, safety and welfare of the people of this nation. You are a dangerous man.
