You Are What You Speak

The strident hyperbole of the right wing echo machine is disturbing on its face.

It’s troubling to hear high profile Americans castigating millions of their fellow citizens simply because they hold different opinions.
It raises intolerance to frightening new levels and like all intolerance, is completely irrational.

Why is it we never hear a fact-based defense of the Bush administration’s policies and leadership?
(Lies don’t count.)

Personal attacks and fatuous accusations aren’t opinion. It is character assassination. It has no place in American politics.

Not only are their attacks baseless, they paint an eerie picture of their own failures, flaws and maladjustment.

Their paranoia is focused on an ill-defined group called “liberals”. Anyone who disagrees with Bush is a “liberal” and will be attacked.

People that disagree with the Bush administration are not hoping for America to go belly up. They are disturbed by the fact that it is going belly up.

How could asking for capable leadership that will act for the greater good and behave responsibly possibly be interpreted as hating America?

It’s the people involved with the Bush administration that care nothing for America.
They use the power of office for private gain and childish dreams of omnipotence.
They stupidly squander America’s strength for nothing and will listen to no one.
No one that cares for this nation could possibly support that kind of leadership.

Liberals want Bush to Fail?

It isn’t the fault of others that Bush is a failure.
Failure is the one thing that Bush has been able to accomplish perfectly without anyone’s help.
He was and is ill prepared and ill suited for the job of President.
His limited intellect, rigid personality and poor cognitive skills make his failure inevitable.

Pro-terrorist?

It isn’t the “liberals” who are refusing to address the roots of terrorism, failing to catch Osama bin Ladin, and secure our ports, chemical plants and nuclear facilities.

Pro terrorist is letting terrorist go free while you bash off on oil jihad.
Pro terrorist is making the US an easy target for future terrorists by ignoring all the mistakes and failures of 9-11.

It is the Bush administration not the liberals who are sheltering Cuban terrorist Luis Posada and refusing to extradite him to Venezuela where he is wanted for crimes.

The traitors are in the White House.

They betrayed us by lying us into war.
They betrayed us by lying about occupying Iraq.
Their policies have radicalized Arab moderates and been a boon for terrorist recruitment.
They have failed to secure the country as recommended by the 9-11 Commissions

They are the ones consorting with traitors like Chalabi, passing state secrets to AIPAC and blowing the investigation out of the water, outing CIA agents like Valerie Plame and selling our ports to countries with terrorist ties.

They are the ones colluding with energy corporations and allow them to undermine the economic security for private gain and political support.

Some administration members are career traitors who were involved in the Iran Contra Scandal.

Liberals are not a fifth column.

They aren’t the ones sapping the strength and power of the US.
It’s the Bush administration that is weakening the nation with foreign debt and allowing the exportation of American jobs.

They aren’t the ones destroying our military and politicizing the intelligence gathering agencies making our nation less able to defend itself.

They aren’t the ones who have made America a hated country.
They aren’t the ones shredding the Constitution.

Surrender monkeys?

Aggressive war is a war crime.
You don’t win war crimes. You don’t make war crimes better by committing more war crimes.

Iraq is now engaged in a civil war. How would you suggest the US win their civil war?
The only war the Bush administration seems to be winning is against the elderly, the infirm, children and the working poor of this country.

Not one member of the cowardly, bellicose Bush administration has ever served on the front lines. They hid in the National Guard, got multiple deferments or wimped out with minor physical ailments.

They like to start wars for others to fight. They don’t even care about winning. They send our soldiers into battle undermanned, ill equipped and ill cared for.

They don’t go to the funerals of men and women they carelessly throw away and they don’t visit them in the hospital. They denigrate the honorable service of others.
These people reek of cowardice.

Many of those critical of Bush’s war policies and leadership in war have served in the military, many are veterans and some are the top brass.

The stupidity and immorality of the Bush administration is as broad as it is deep.

Suppressing science is a stupid thing to do. The consequences are immoral.
Bush’s syntax is very stupid. His lies are immoral.

Hiring criminals to work in your administration is stupid.
Committing crimes while in office is stupid and immoral.

Getting caught committing crimes is stupid and continuing to commit crimes is stupid and immoral.

Refusing to fire people that fuck up is stupid.
The consequences are immoral.

Starting an unnecessary war is immoral.
Starting another war without finishing the first or the second is stupid.

It’s stupid to think you can have a powerful nation without caring about the health, safety and well being of its people. It’s immoral not to care.

Letting 9-11 happen was stupid and immoral. So was losing New Orleans.

This is more than vicious politics. It’s symptomatic of serious problems.

Projecting your own flaws and weaknesses on the world around you is not a normal human response. When one's accusations are a blueprint of their own sins and they cannot see it, it's time to stop arguing and intervene.

They have crossed the boundary from mean spirited politics into pathology.
They seek absolute power not to lead or defend but to quell their own inner chaos.

They are all ready responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
They are planning a nuclear strike on Iran that will kill 3 million people.
3 million is the number of people killed in the holocaust.
