MR. PRESIDENT,

A White House memo appeared on the news outlining a deal you made with pharmacuetical companies. You have both lied to Americans and made an agreement that is not in their interests. I think we can safely assume a similar deal with health insurers is the reason you are refusing to support a single payer system.
The interests of corporations are not the same as the interests of Americans. Often, they are in direct conflict. Corporations have minions and millions to represent their interests. The job of government is to represent our interests.

Trading the ability to limit illegitimate corporate power in exchange for promises of doubtful value in no way represents our interests.
Unfettered corporate power destroyed our healthcare system. It can never be the cure.
The predatory healthcare industry has never had a better friend than the Obama White House. You have stated that you are willing to become a one term president in order to

pass health care legislation; legislation that preserves their power and their profits.
I'm certain one term will be more than enough for the long suffering American people who have no such friend in the White House and who have watched you continue to stuff the pockets of the ultra rich with their money while their lives are diminished and their futures blighted.
Sincerely,
Carol DW
