PRESIDENT OBAMA,
I don't know which I find more offensive: your unwillingness to support the elected government of Honduras or your inappropriate defense/de facto support for the coup. The sort of interference you refer to in your glib defense of inaction is not what is being asked of the US. The kinds of interference people object to are US trained death squads, deposing populist presidents and shock and awe capitalism. Sadly those things are recurring on your watch.
This is not about a military intervention, it's a about a response to "the rule of law". It's about a "humanitarian crisis". It's about the State Department being tainted by business interests. One of Zelaya's last acts in office was to increase the minimum wage. A close associate of Secretary Clintons' is representing the wealthy Honduran business interests that would profit this coup. Waiting while the illegal government solidifies it's power by the use military and police force is not a joking matter. It is simply unacceptable.
