DEAR PATTY

Patty Murray, "the tennis shoe mom" has shed her populist image in word and deed. She is currently a member of the powerful Armed Services Committee. She was pimp for the aircraft industry in the carrier scandal in which at least person went to prison. She was exposed on national television as a shameless earmark queen. Keep in mind that earmarks are non competitive handouts. He beneficieries, almost always linked to the "defense industry" and almost none of their products were helpful to our underarmed, underserved troops.
She is out asking for money. Don't give her any. A credible candidate to run in her place is a better use of your money. This past week our depraved Senate voted to increase "aide" to Pakistan (Bhutto's widower, 10% Ali is happy recipient). Those of you that have long memories will remember that the Pakistani people ran him out of town once before.

SENATOR MURRAY,

I certainly hope you did not vote to triple aid to Pakistan.
The current head was thrown out of Pakistan once for gross corruption and would be again if it weren't for your support. Lining the pockets of corrupt foreign leaders is a criminal waste of taxpayers dollars.
Current foreign policy in Pakistan is heading down a disastrous road. Extra-judicial executions by US drones, killing hundred of innocent people and no attempt to actually understand or deal with the problems we have created there.
Thanks to the complete lack of moral fiber in the US Senate, this nation has breeched all bounds of legality, humanity and common sense.
I used to proud to be an American and in many ways I still am. But I am deeply ashamed of this government.
